To honor the milestone, YouTube recently shared impressive statistics: over 20 million videos are uploaded daily, and in 2024 alone, users posted an average of 100 million comments each day. Creators have been highly interactive too, giving hearts to comments from around 10 million users daily.

The platform also reported that videos received over 3.5 billion likes per day last year, and more than 300 music videos have surpassed the billion-views mark, showcasing YouTube’s massive global impact.

The celebrations included milestones for YouTube Music and YouTube Kids, both of which are turning 10. Interestingly, before its official launch, YouTube Music operated internally under the codename “Woodstock.”

Looking to the future, YouTube aims to introduce more AI-powered features across its services and further promote its Premium subscription model. The company emphasized that growing Premium memberships is key to supporting and rewarding its global community of creators.

As it enters its third decade, YouTube remains a central platform for audiences worldwide to discover, create, and enjoy digital content across mobile devices, web browsers, and smart TVs.
