Pakistani actress Saboor Aly recently revealed that she once viewed her now-husband, Ali Ansari, as a brother before their marriage and even helped find potential matches for him.
In a resurfaced interview that has gone viral, Saboor explained that because Ali’s sister, Mariam Ansari, is one of her closest friends, she naturally saw Ali as a brother, a common practice in Pakistani culture.

She shared that before marrying Ali, she suggested several potential brides to Mariam and even recommended some girls to Ali.
Mariam would often jokingly ask why Saboor didn’t marry Ali herself, to which Saboor would reply that she considered him a brother.
Despite their strong friendship and discussions about their careers, Saboor never imagined their relationship would evolve into a marriage.
