Rumors are circulating in the Indian entertainment industry about Bollywood icon Aamir Khan potentially retiring from acting. Known as Mr. Perfectionist, these speculations gained momentum after an interview with his son, Junaid Khan, who is making his debut in the Netflix film Maharaj.
In the interview, Junaid revealed that his father is considering retirement, which led him to officially start his career in the film industry. Junaid mentioned that his experiences working behind the scenes on projects like PK and shooting commercials have provided him with a solid understanding of film production.

Junaid said, “I have always worked behind the camera, and when my father informed me that he was retiring, he suggested that I take over.” This moment inspired Junaid to pursue a career in production.
Aamir Khan is reportedly working on the sequel to his acclaimed film Taare Zameen Par. However, he has faced a difficult period recently, with his films Thugs of Hindostan (2018) and Laal Singh Chaddha both failing to succeed at the box office.
