Pakistani actress Javeria Abbasi has shared insights into her marriage to her second husband, Adeel Haider. In a recent exclusive interview with a Pakistani magazine, the couple discussed their relationship and nuptials.
Adeel Haider revealed that he first noticed Javeria at a social gathering and was instantly attracted to her, unaware at the time that she was an actress. He described it as love at first sight, and after becoming friends, it took him three years to convince her to marry him.

Adeel explained that delays in their wedding were due to his previous marriage and some societal concerns, although they had initially intended to marry sooner.
Javeria mentioned that both she and Adeel are in their second marriages, as Adeel’s first marriage ended in divorce, and he has children from that relationship. She clarified that their romance began before her daughter Anzela’s wedding, but her priority was to see her daughter married first. After Anzela’s wedding, Javeria decided to accept Adeel’s proposal.
She noted that Adeel proposed multiple times over the two and a half to three years, with her declining each time. However, when she finally agreed, Adeel initially had a bit of an attitude, but they eventually tied the knot. Their nikkah took place in March this year, attended by close friends and family, and they have now been married for six months.
It’s important to mention that Javeria was previously married to actor Shamoon Abbasi in 1997, and they welcomed their daughter Anzela a year later. The couple divorced in 2009, after which Anzela lived with her mother. In 2023, Javeria organized Anzela’s wedding.
