Despite Johnny Depp’s protracted legal disputes, Dior, a renowned French luxury fashion business and global cosmetics powerhouse, has reiterated its dedication to the actor. It is the largest men’s fragrance contract ever documented when the firm, in a ground-breaking move, signed Depp to a historic three-year contract.
Variety reports that insiders believe the deal to be worth more than $20 million, surpassing the $12 million contract Robert Pattinson signed as the face of Dior Homme and Brad Pitt’s $7 million contract to promote Chanel No 5. A-list celebrities with fragrance deals reportedly make an average of $2 million to $4 million a year, according to industry sources.
Depp has been the face of Dior Sauvage since 2015, and the company was under pressure to cut relations with him.
