Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed harrowing details of the attack on her husband, Saif Ali Khan, at their Bandra residence early Thursday.
“The attacker was aggressive and stabbed Saif repeatedly,” she told police, adding that Saif intervened to protect their younger son, Jehangir. Despite the violence, nothing was stolen from the house. Kareena, shaken by the incident, sought refuge at her sister Karisma Kapoor’s Khar residence.

Saif, who sustained six stab wounds, underwent a five-hour surgery at Lilavati Hospital. Dr. Nitin Narayan Dange reported Saif is stable and recovering, with his hospital stay expected to last until January 21.
Police suspect a “hardened criminal” behind the attack and are investigating motives, as early CCTV footage shows the intruder fleeing the scene.
