Khalilur Rehman Qamar’s Female Abductor Reveals Shocking Details

Lahore police have arrested a 12-member gang, including the primary female suspect, who kidnapped and extorted famous dramatist Khalilur Rehman Qamar,

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Imran Kishwar announced that the kidnappers had demanded Rs 10 million from Qamar. The female suspect, Amna Urooj, who had lured Qamar under the guise of a drama project, admitted to targeting high-profile individuals over the past two years.

Kishwar explained that the gang had deleted data from Qamar’s mobile phone to avoid detection, but police managed to recover it. They arrested Urooj first and subsequently captured the remaining members.

Amna Urooj confessed to using the pretense of a drama project to trap Qamar. The police also seized various weapons from the gang.

Khalilur Rehman Qamar commended the police for their quick response and successful capture of the criminals. In his report, Qamar detailed being beaten, robbed, and held for ransom before being abandoned at Nankana Sahib when the ransom was not paid.
