Senior Director of Culture and Sports at KMC, Raza Abbas, handed over the paintings to Soomro in front of the media, marking the resolution of the case. However, Soomro expressed dissatisfaction, hinting at legal action and demanding Rs1 million in royalties for his work.

Renowned artist Jimmy Engineer was also present at the event and offered Soomro a cash reward, acknowledging his contributions to the art world. While the return of the paintings has closed one chapter, the potential legal proceedings could create further controversy.
