Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg has welcomed a new addition—a calf named ‘Deepjyoti’. Modi shared the news in a post on X, revealing that the calf was born to a cow, referred to as ‘Gau Mata,’ within the premises of his official residence.
Quoting a Sanskrit scripture, Modi stated, “Gaavh Sarvasukh Pradaah,” emphasizing the significance of cows in Indian culture. The calf’s birth was seen as an auspicious event for the household.
Modi further explained that the calf has a special mark on its forehead, which inspired its name ‘Deepjyoti,’ meaning ‘light’. He expressed joy over the new arrival in his post, highlighting the symbolic importance.
The announcement was made on social media, where Modi shared his sentiments in Hindi, celebrating the arrival of the new member at the Prime Minister’s residence.
