A Romanian court has ruled that internet personality Andrew Tate should have his luxury cars, valued at approximately €4 million ($4.43 million), returned. The vehicles were seized by prosecutors amid a second criminal investigation into human trafficking accusations. The ruling came on Tuesday, while Tate remains under house arrest pending the ongoing investigation.

Tate, along with his brother Tristan and four other suspects, faces charges related to human trafficking, forming an organized criminal group, trafficking minors, sexual exploitation, and money laundering. All suspects have denied the allegations. As part of the investigation, prosecutors had also confiscated several high-end cars, including Ferraris, McLarens, a Maybach, Maserati, and Lamborghini.
The brothers’ lawyer, Eugen Vidineac, welcomed the court’s decision to return the cars, stating it was the correct outcome given the details of the case. The Tates, who hold both U.S. and British citizenship, were already indicted in mid-2023 on similar charges, with the trial still pending.
