Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, five days after a stabbing incident at his Bandra residence left him with serious injuries. Saif, dressed in a white shirt and jeans, was seen returning home with heavy security, marking a moment of relief for fans and family.
The attack took place on January 16, during which an intruder stabbed Saif six times. The actor was rushed to the hospital in an autorickshaw and underwent surgeries, including the removal of a knife lodged near his spine. Dr. Nitin Dange, who treated him, confirmed that timely medical intervention was crucial for his recovery.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif’s wife, revealed he was injured while protecting their younger son, Jeh. Despite the presence of valuable items in the house, the attacker’s actions suggested motives beyond robbery.
The Mumbai police arrested the attacker, identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, a Bangladeshi national, from Thane. He had initially posed as a Kolkata resident but was identified through documents found on his phone.
Stricter security measures, including CCTV installation and additional gates, have been implemented at the Khan residence. The family has thanked fans for their support as Saif continues his recovery at home.
