Sikh pilgrims from India are scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on April 13 to participate in the celebrations of Khalsa Janma Day and Vasakhi Mela. Officials from the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), Pradhan, and other Sikh leaders will extend a warm welcome to the guests upon their arrival.
ETPB Secretary Farid Iqbal assured that all necessary facilities would be provided to the Sikh pilgrims during their visit. Arrangements have been finalized under the supervision of the Board’s Additional Secretary Shrines, Rana Shahid Saleem. The main ceremony will take place at Gurudwara Panja Sahib in Hasan Abdal on April 14.
Following the ceremony at Hasan Abdal, the pilgrims will proceed to Nankana Sahib on April 15. On April 18, they will visit Gurudwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur in Narowal.
On April 20, the yatrees will visit Aimanabad and then proceed to Lahore, where they will stay for one day. The Sikh pilgrims are expected to conclude their 10-day pilgrimage and return to India on April 22.
