Senior Pakistani actress Shagufta Ejaz’s husband, Yahya Siddiqui, has passed away today after a five-year struggle with cancer.
Shagufta shared the tragic news on her Instagram account, posting a photo of her late husband and including a caption that reads: “My husband Yahya Siddiqui has passed away. Please recite Surah Fatiha for his forgiveness. JazakAllah.”

A few days ago, Shagufta Ejaz celebrated her wedding anniversary with her husband in the hospital. She recently posted a new vlog on her YouTube channel from his hospital room, documenting their anniversary celebration.
The vlog includes a segment where their daughter brings a cake to the hospital, and they share the moment with family and friends, highlighting a few joyful moments despite their challenging situation.
Ejaz also expressed her concerns about the insufficient facilities at the private hospital and requested her fans to pray for her husband’s complete recovery.
It’s worth noting that Shagufta married Siddiqui a few years ago, in their second marriages, and together they have two daughters, while both have children from their previous marriages.
