In a tragic and deeply disturbing incident in Lahore, a man named Azeem, who had been accused of drowning his four children in a canal, met a fatal end during a police encounter. Here are the details of the incident:
Azeem, a 27-year-old suspect, had allegedly lured his four children to accompany him to a canal, initially pretending to take them on a picnic. Tragically, he had pushed his own children into the canal, all while pretending to take a selfie.
He later misled the police and other relatives by falsely claiming that his children had been kidnapped by unidentified suspects.
The children who fell victim to this horrifying incident were identified as Ghulam Sabir (12), Samia (9), Nabiha (5), and Ayesha (2).
Three of the children’s bodies had been found, but the search continued for the fourth child.
In an effort to locate the fourth child’s body, the police brought the suspect, Azeem, to the crime scene. However, during this operation, two of Azeem’s accomplices opened fire on the police team.
In the exchange of gunfire, Azeem was fatally shot by his own associates, who managed to escape from the scene.
The police have initiated a manhunt to track down and apprehend the escaped accomplices.
This tragic incident has shocked the community and law enforcement, and it highlights the need for continued efforts to address such heinous crimes and bring those responsible to justice.
