PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat and former party chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan have apparently reconciled after a period of apparent discord sparked by Marwat’s controversial remarks about Gohar’s performance.
In a recent meeting, Marwat expressed his support for Gohar, clarifying that his earlier comments were directed towards the entire party leadership and not specifically aimed at Gohar. He emphasized that there were no personal rifts between them and affirmed Gohar’s position as the PTI chairman in the future.

Gohar echoed the sentiment, stating that PTI aims to avoid personal conflicts within the party.
This development comes after the PTI issued a show-cause notice to Marwat for his remarks, asking him to submit an apology letter within two days or face further action according to party policy.
Marwat’s earlier comments had suggested that Gohar was removed from his position as chairman due to unsatisfactory performance. However, he clarified that his intention was to highlight broader issues within the party leadership and its post-election approach.
The reconciliation between Marwat and Gohar signals a potential resolution to the internal tensions within PTI, paving the way for smoother operations within the party moving forward.
