Media Coverage Fee for Metro Bus & Orange Line Train

The Punjab Mass Transit Authority recently made an announcement regarding media coverage of Metro Bus and Orange Line train stations. According to the new guidelines, media organizations will now need to pay a coverage fee in order to cover these transit stations, and their permission for coverage will be determined based on this payment.
The authority has categorized the Orange Line stations into three groups. Category A, consisting of eight stations, will require a coverage fee of Rs. 246,000 per station. Category B, which includes ten stations, will have a coverage fee of Rs. 185,000 per station. Lastly, Category C, with eight stations, will have a coverage fee of Rs. 124,000.

It’s worth noting that the coverage fee of Rs. 124,000 will also be applicable to media organizations wishing to cover the Metro Bus service.
