Mobile services will be suspended in portions of Islamabad during the 9th and 11th Muharram ul Haram processions.
The closure of mobile services will only apply to particular places during specific hours, and there will be no citywide outage of mobile networks.

The Ministry of Interior, according to details, has addressed a letter to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority in this regard. According to the letter, the Interior Minister has approved the suspension of mobile phone services in certain regions of the cityThe Interior Ministry letter mentions the letter prepared by the Office of the Chief Commissioner Islamabad, which spent money in the following areas:
