The Meteorological Department highlights that the initial phase of the monsoon is likely to bring heavier rainfall compared to the later phase. This precipitation pattern is crucial for managing water resources and planning agriculture. Additionally, warmer temperatures are anticipated to accelerate the melting of snow in KP, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan. Consequently, these areas are expected to experience higher temperatures than usual at the start of June, impacting river flows and water availability.

Overall, with expectations of above-normal rainfall in numerous areas, the upcoming monsoon season holds promise for agriculture and water resources. It is advisable to stay updated with local weather reports for the most accurate information.
