It also drew several former cricketers, including Moin Khan, Arshad Khan, Mohammad Akram, and Waqar Younis, who took part in the festivities.
The national team missed Haris Rauf’s wedding ceremony owing to weather circumstances in Rawalpindi that prevented them from attending the reception.
According to PCB sources, the Pakistan team management decided to prohibit players from travelling to Rawalpindi due to unfavourable weather circumstances.
The Babar Azam-led group is due to depart today for a Test series in Sri Lanka.
The national team was supposed to fly from Karachi to Rawalpindi on Friday evening to attend the wedding, returning on Saturday afternoon.
