More than 832,000 Pakistanis, including 400,000 highly skilled young Pakistanis, departed the nation in the first half of this year in search of work prospects overseas, contributing to a phenomenon known as “brain drain.” This trend has been ongoing for several years, with a total of 2.75 million young people departing Pakistan in the last five years.

According to experts, the key elements fueling this flight are unstable economic conditions, excessive inflation, and unemployment. These issues are common in diverse parts of the country. According to reports, over 1.2 million young people have sought employment abroad during the current coalition government’s tenure.
