The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media division, reported that the operation occurred from August 14 to 15, resulting in the elimination of the terrorists through an armed confrontation.

These militants were confirmed to be involved in acts of terrorist operations against both Pakistani civilians and law enforcement agencies. The operation led to the recovery of weapons and explosives in the possession of the insurgents.

This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism in the region, as Pakistan continues to address security challenges. Neighboring provinces like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan have faced significant law and order issues due to the activities of groups like the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other extremist factions. These groups have utilized bases in Afghanistan to launch attacks.

As Pakistan remains committed to countering such threats, this operation showcases the nation’s dedication to ensuring stability and security in the face of continued challenges from terrorist elements operating from across the border.
