Pakistan Faces New Zealand in First T20 Match in Rawalpindi Today PAK vs NZ

The T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand is poised to kick off on April 18 Thursday, marking the resumption of clashes between the two sides after a hiatus of several months. Under the captaincy of Babar Azam, Pakistan’s T20 squad is geared up for action against an inexperienced Black Caps side at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. With the home-ground advantage on their side, the Men in Green are aiming to assert dominance over their opponents.

Anticipation runs high as the Pindi Stadium pitch is reputed to favor batsmen, setting the stage for potentially high-scoring encounters. Babar Azam, accompanied by Mohammad Rizwan, is anticipated to spearhead the batting lineup. Notably, this series marks Azhar Mahmood’s debut as the head coach of the Green Shirts. Excitement among fans is further heightened by the return of players like Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir, while emerging talents like Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman are also under scrutiny.
