Pakistan Granted Visa-Free Access to Tajikistan

Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed that holders of official passports from either country will no longer require visas to travel between them. This decision follows discussions between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan and President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan in Dushanbe.

During their talks, the leaders explored various areas of cooperation including trade, investment, economic connectivity, culture, education, technology, defense collaboration, disaster relief, governance exchange, and people-to-people interactions.

Additionally, they formalized their enhanced bilateral ties through a Strategic Partnership Agreement, outlining arrangements for mutual airport usage, joint ventures in third countries, academic exchanges, sports engagements, business collaborations, and tourism initiatives aimed at fostering greater interaction between their citizens.
