Pakistan, along with several other nations, has strongly condemned the Israeli attack on a Gaza hospital that resulted in the tragic loss of over 500 lives. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, expressed that the act of targeting a hospital, where civilians sought shelter and emergency medical treatment, is both inhumane and indefensible. Baloch emphasized that the indiscriminate targeting of civilian populations and facilities constitutes a grave violation of international law and amounts to war crimes.
Pakistan has also called upon the international community to take immediate measures to halt the Israeli bombardment and the siege of Gaza. They have expressed concerns about the apparent impunity with which Israeli authorities have been operating in recent days.
The Israeli attack on al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, which was filled with displaced people, led to the loss of more than 500 lives, including women and children. This tragic incident, along with continuing air strikes, has caused fear and anxiety among the war-torn Palestinian population. It is reported that many victims remain trapped under the rubble of the destroyed hospital compound. Palestinian authorities have described this attack as a war crime.”
