A 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck parts of Pakistan on Wednesday, affecting areas predominantly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.

The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) confirmed that the tremors were experienced in Islamabad and various regions within Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
