7 Black Deer Stolen from Jallo Park Lahore

In response to the mysterious disappearance of seven rare black deer from Jallo Park in Lahore, the Director General of Wildlife has taken decisive action by suspending four staff members believed to be on duty during the incident. The suspension comes with a heavy fine, signaling the severity of the situation.

The incident, which occurred on Thursday night, prompted an immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding the disappearance. While suspicions have been raised regarding the potential involvement of the staff, as of now, there is no concrete evidence to support these accusations.

Before the incident, the park housed a total of 21 deer, and the sudden disappearance of seven has raised concerns about the safety and security measures in place. Despite officials claiming to have recovered three black deer from fields near the park on Monday, the whereabouts of the remaining four are still unknown.

Unfortunately, the disappearance of exotic animals from zoos in Lahore is not a novel occurrence. In a similar incident, four female black deer were stolen from Lahore’s Safari Park Zoo a few years ago, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced in maintaining the security of such facilities.
