Police

In an unusual incident, an eight-year-old boy approached police in Choori Para to file a complaint against two women who allegedly stopped him from playing street cricket. The complaint was lodged on Thursday at the Sakhi Peer police station.

The boy, identified as Ayaz, claimed that the women repeatedly prevented him from enjoying the game in his own neighborhood. “The two women do not allow me to play in the neighbourhood,” Ayaz stated in his official complaint.

Police confirmed that they have formally registered the complaint and assured that necessary action will be taken after a proper inquiry. The case has sparked interest both online and locally for highlighting how serious the love for cricket runs in Pakistan—even in its youngest fans.

Officers added that while it’s rare for children to file such complaints, every citizen has the right to approach police when they feel wronged.
