A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday when an ambulance en route from Nawabshah to Karachi lost control and plunged into a roadside ditch along the Super Highway, resulting in the death of a patient and injuries to three others.
Rescue officials confirmed that the deceased, identified as Ali Muhammad, was being transported for medical treatment when the vehicle veered off the road. The exact cause of the loss of control is yet to be determined.

Among the injured was a woman, and all three survivors were shifted to a nearby hospital, where they received medical care. Their conditions remain stable, according to hospital sources.
The incident has raised fresh concerns about the safety of emergency medical transport, particularly on high-speed highways where such vehicles often face challenging road conditions and limited infrastructure support.
