An American woman, Onija Robbins, has departed from Pakistan to the United States on Emirates flight EK 603.
Authorities at Karachi Airport, including officials from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the police, assisted her during the departure process. Special arrangements were made to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey for Robbins.

Onija had arrived in Pakistan months ago, hoping to marry a young Pakistani man. A few days prior to her departure, she was escorted to the airport’s departure lounge by security following a 36-minute flight delay.
US consulate officials, who met her at the airport, attempted to persuade her to return home earlier, but she refused their assistance. Reports suggest she declined any help from consulate staff, booked an online taxi, and left the airport without security.
According to airport sources, Robbins had been staying in Karachi since October 11 after connecting via social media with 19-year-old Nidal Memon, a resident of Karachi’s Garden area. The two had developed an online relationship, and Memon had promised to marry her.
However, his family rejected the proposal, leaving Robbins in a difficult situation as her visit visa had expired. Her love story, which gained significant attention, saw her resisting multiple attempts to leave Karachi.
After an extended stay in the city, Robbins has now finally returned to the United States.
