Anti-Terrorism Court Clears Bushra Bibi of May 9 Cases

The Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi has cleared Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, of all charges in 12 cases related to the May 9 incidents. The decision was announced by Judge Malik Ejaz Asif during a court session, where both the investigative officers and Bushra Bibi’s lawyer, Salman Safdar, were present.

The Rawalpindi police had requested Bushra Bibi’s physical remand for further investigation, but this request was strongly opposed by her defense attorneys. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court rejected the police’s request for remand.
