The ‘Chief Minister Internship Program’ has been introduced to offer better opportunities for the youth in the country’s most populous region.
According to information on the Punjab government portal, this Youth Internship Program is a Punjab government initiative designed to provide unemployed youth with valuable skills to enhance their career prospects.

Eligibility Requirements for the Chief Minister Internship Program
Candidates aged 18 to 25 are eligible to apply for the program by registering at www.cmip.punjab.gp.pk. Selected individuals will be placed in leading private sector companies for their internships.
Chief Minister Maryam emphasized the program’s goal of guiding young people toward financial independence with dignity and encouraged them to seize this opportunity for a successful future.
The program offers thousands of internships lasting six months, with interns receiving a monthly stipend of Rs 25,000. Fresh graduates will be given preference.
Participants will gain practical experience in the private sector, applying their academic knowledge to real-world scenarios. The program is designed to develop skills, increase employability, build professional networks, and foster personal growth.
Applicants may begin their applications even if their academic documents are not yet verified by HEC, but processing will occur only after verification. If a degree is not listed, applicants should contact the provided email or call center for assistance. Registration opens on August 28, 2024, and closes on September 30, 2024, with internships tentatively starting on November 1, 2024.
