In a tragic incident last night, armed terrorists targeted Assistant Registrar of the Pakistan Engineering Council, Engr. Asim Lang, and his wife in a heinous attack, resulting in their martyrdom in the Bahara Kahu area within the jurisdiction of Kohsar Police Station in Islamabad.
The engineering community is mourning the loss of Engr. Muhammad Najib Haroon, the Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council, Engr. Dr. Naseer Mahmood Khan, Registrar PEC, and the administrative staff of PEC and the engineering community condemn this act of barbarity.
Federal Minister for Interior and relevant security agencies are urged by the Pakistan Engineering Council to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators and ensure that justice is served.
The entire engineering community and the employees of the Pakistan Engineering Council stand in solidarity with the bereaved families of the deceased. May Allah Almighty grant the departed souls a place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus, and may the grieving families be blessed with patience and strength during this difficult time.
