President Aliyev revealed that the three nations are currently evaluating investment projects worth $2 billion designed to boost economic cooperation. He acknowledged the support Pakistan and Turkey provided during the 2020 conflict and emphasized the strong bond of trust and brotherhood among the countries.

He also stressed the significance of defense collaboration, noting that there are ample opportunities for joint initiatives in this sector. “Defense cooperation among Pakistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan is crucial not only for our collective security but also for maintaining regional stability,” he added.

The summit, which included Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and senior Pakistani officials, focused on enhancing trilateral partnerships in various areas, including trade, defense, energy, and regional connectivity.

President Erdogan reaffirmed Turkey’s dedication to strengthening strategic relations with both Pakistan and Azerbaijan. He also congratulated Azerbaijan on its Independence Day and expressed hope for the reconstruction and development of territories regained after the 2020 conflict with Armenia.

“This second trilateral meeting is a continuation of our shared efforts. Our nations’ relations are built on mutual respect and trust, and we are committed to deepening this strategic alliance,” Erdogan remarked.

Addressing the humanitarian crisis in the Middle East, Erdogan condemned the violence in Gaza, calling attention to the suffering of children and urging the international community to respond.

The trilateral forum has become an important platform for enhancing regional cooperation and advancing shared goals among the three countries. Officials expect several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and joint declarations to be signed in the near future.

While Pakistan has not yet officially confirmed the investment details, sources indicate that discussions are ongoing to finalize projects in infrastructure, energy, and technology sectors under the investment package.

This trilateral summit reflects a broader initiative to expand strategic partnerships amid shifting geopolitical dynamics in the region.
