The Balochistan government has imposed a nighttime travel ban on key highways from 6pm to 6am due to security threats. The affected routes include Sibi Road, Zhob-D.I. Khan Road, Coastal Highway, Quetta-Taftan Highway, and Loralai-D.G. Khan Highway.

The move follows multiple recent attacks, including a suicide bombing in Mastung, targeted killings in Kalat and Noshki, and the deadly Jaffar Express hostage crisis. Authorities say the ban aims to protect travelers amid rising violence in the region.
