Balochistan Launches Digital Intermediate Exam System

The chairman of the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), Mir Ejaz Azeem Baloch, stated on Friday that a computerised method will be implemented for conducting intermediate examinations in the province. This is the first time that such a system will be used.

In Balochistan, all preparations for intermediate examinations have been completed, including the appointment of examiners, supervisors, employees, and senior inspectors. The tests are set to begin on May 13th.

According to the board chairman’s official numbers, 93,733 pupils are anticipated to take the tests. To successfully combat cheating, the board is preparing to implement a new digital system that will include digital attendance taking and advanced monitoring technology in test centres.

The implementation of the digital system represents an important step towards modernising education in the province. The new method will not only increase the efficiency and accuracy of the test process, but it will also aid in the prevention of cheating and other sorts of misconduct.
