Balochistan MPA Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman’s Son Reported Missing from Karachi

The son of Balochistan Assembly member Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman has gone missing in Karachi, according to family sources.

Abdul Basit, who was enrolled at a religious seminary in the Saudabad area of Malir, has not been seen since the previous evening. His family stated that he had left the seminary to visit his uncle’s home in Manghopir but never arrived and has not returned since.

While police have confirmed that a formal missing person complaint has yet to be registered, they are actively coordinating with the family and assisting in efforts to locate the missing boy.

In response to the incident, the Chief Minister of Sindh has taken notice and requested a comprehensive report from the Inspector General of Police regarding the suspected disappearance of the MPA’s son.
