Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, culminating his two-day tour in the province, addressed a workers’ convention, citing his government’s accomplishments while attributing project delays to the former Imran Khan-led administration.
Sharif lambasted the PTI government, alleging a cessation of nationwide development endeavors initiated during the PML-N regime. In a pointed reference to PTI’s chief, he criticized the imposition of a leader under the ‘Naya Pakistan’ banner, asserting the halting of projects spearheaded by the PML-N.

During his two-day stint in Balochistan, the PML-N leader articulated aspirations beyond mere power acquisition, emphasizing the resolution of citizens’ grievances and the restoration of prosperity. Additionally, Maryam Nawaz, also present during the visit, vowed to bridge the developmental gap between Balochistan and Punjab.
Promising a solar panel scheme, Sharif reaffirmed the party’s commitment to progress, especially in energy and infrastructural development. Maryam Nawaz echoed these sentiments, advocating for Balochistan’s equitable advancement in tandem with Punjab.
