PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has cautioned that any military conflict between Pakistan and India risks escalating into a nuclear confrontation. In an interview with Sky News, he emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression but stressed that both nations must avoid pushing tensions to dangerous extremes.
Bilawal urged the international community to intervene and called for an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam incident, which has reignited friction between the two countries. He warned that failure in diplomacy could destabilize the entire region and trigger full-scale war.

He also criticized India’s recent move to suspend the Indus Water Treaty, declaring at a rally in Sukkur that Pakistan would fiercely defend its water rights. Bilawal warned that any attempt to block Pakistan’s water would leave “no question of a peaceful resolution.”
Accusing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi of using false terrorism allegations to deflect from domestic issues, Bilawal reaffirmed that unilateral violations of international agreements like the Indus Water Treaty would not be tolerated by Pakistan.
