Bookings Open for Islamabad’s Landmark IT Park Launching This August

The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has begun accepting bookings for the highly anticipated Islamabad IT Park, ahead of its official launch on 14 August. Developed under the Ministry of IT and Telecom, the facility is expected to become a key hub for the country’s digital economy.

Spanning 720,000 square feet, the park is designed to accommodate over 120 IT and ITeS companies, offering modern office spaces and a dedicated startup incubation centre with 15 units. Resident firms will also benefit from legal, marketing, and financial advisory services.

One of the standout features is Pakistan’s first-ever Tier III Data Centre, built to international standards, ensuring data security and continuous operations. The park will also include R&D labs, industry-academia linkage centres, and virtual training zones to enhance innovation and workforce development.

Backed by the Ministry of IT and Telecom, P@SHA, and the Pakistan Freelancers Association, the initiative positions Islamabad as a prime destination for tech investment. A similar IT park is also in the pipeline near Karachi airport to broaden the country’s digital footprint.
