CCD Raids PML-N MPA’s Dera in Search for Suspect in Kidnapping, Lewd Video Case

The Crime Control Department (CCD) has conducted a raid at the residence of PML-N MPA Chaudhry Naeem Ijaz in connection with an ongoing search for wanted suspects. Authorities say the suspects are accused of kidnapping and filming obscene videos.

According to a CCD spokesperson, the operation focused on individuals allegedly linked to criminal activities and reportedly close to Chaudhry Naeem Ijaz. The spokesperson added that the in-charge of Naeem Ijaz’s dera is wanted in a terrorism case. Multiple raids are being carried out to apprehend him.

The CCD stressed that the action was part of a broader effort to curb serious crimes and bring those involved to justice.

MPA’s camp denies allegations

Reacting to the raid, a spokesperson for Chaudhry Naeem Ijaz condemned the move, calling it unjustified and baseless. They alleged that the CCD acted without proper investigation or legal grounds.

The spokesperson claimed officials forcefully entered the private residence, describing it as “hooliganism.” They further accused the raiding team of taking cash under the pretense of searching security guards, terming the incident a robbery.

Controversy and calls for accountability

The raid has sparked a heated debate between law enforcement and the MPA’s supporters. While the CCD maintains that its actions are legally sanctioned and focused on capturing dangerous suspects, the MPA’s side insists on transparency and accountability for what they see as an overreach of power.

As the investigation continues, both sides remain firm in their positions. The CCD is expected to release further details once more evidence is gathered, while political tensions surrounding the incident continue to grow.

The case has drawn public attention, highlighting the balance between crime control measures and respecting citizens’ rights.
