Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif welcomed the Ethiopian Ambassador and emphasized strengthening bilateral relations.
During the meeting, discussions were held on matters of mutual interest, promotion of bilateral ties, and enhancing cooperation in various sectors.

It was agreed to boost collaboration in agriculture, education, health, information technology, and trade.
Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula appreciated the Punjab government’s development strategy and welfare initiatives.
Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula stated that Ethiopia is keen to further strengthen its ties with Pakistan, particularly with Punjab.
“Ethiopia-Pakistan relations are growing stronger with each passing day,” said Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula.
He also mentioned that Ethiopia is hosting Pakistan’s single-country exhibition this year.
“Bilateral consultations between Pakistan and Ethiopia are a positive development,” said Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
“There is vast potential for cooperation between Pakistan and Ethiopia,” she added.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated Ethiopia on the resumption of direct flights from Ethiopia to Pakistan.
