Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has issued a clear warning to hostile forces, particularly India, stating that Pakistan will not hesitate to defend its sovereignty and national interests at all costs. His powerful remarks came during the commissioning parade of naval cadets at the Pakistan Naval Academy.
Praising the discipline and high standards of the passing-out cadets, Munir urged them to uphold Pakistan Navy’s legacy of professionalism and operational excellence. He also congratulated international graduates from Turkey, Iraq, Palestine, Bahrain, and Djibouti.

Taking direct aim at India, the COAS criticised New Delhi’s “arrogant and aggressive” posture, accusing it of exploiting nationalism and military power for political gain. He reminded the audience of past Indian aggression and warned that any future provocation would be met with a “decisive response.”
Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional stability, continued support for Kashmir’s freedom movement, and the country’s near victory in the fight against terrorism. He closed his address by declaring that Pakistan is moving steadily toward progress despite all efforts to destabilise it.
