The Punjab government has made an important step against child sexual abuse by introducing instruction on the subject for kids throughout the province. This action is being taken in response to an alarming increase in child sexual abuse incidents.
The Department of School Education has issued explicit guidelines to educational authorities throughout the state, underlining the critical need of educating children about this critical subject. Teachers and school administrators have been urged to deliver educational lectures aimed at preventing child abuse.

The program will teach students how to recognize and avoid suspicious people, as well as how to deal with incidents of sexual harassment. Furthermore, students will be actively encouraged to share any information about violence towards children in the school setting.
According to recent data from the Punjab Home Department, there has been an alarming spike in child sexual assault incidents. A survey covering the months of January to June of this year revealed 1,390 incidences of child abuse in the province.
