A 20-year-old woman named Ushna died at a state-run medical facility in Faisalabad following a surgical procedure where doctors reportedly left surgical scissors inside her abdomen. The incident occurred months after the surgery took place at Allied Hospital in February.

The presence of the scissors, inadvertently left behind during the operation, resulted in an infection that severely impacted the woman’s health and ultimately led to her death.
