Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that the government had set aside political interests for the nation’s benefit. Speaking in Islamabad, he highlighted economic improvements, noting inflation had dropped to 1.5%, and cited increased foreign investments, including $2 billion from Azerbaijan.

He credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership for Pakistan’s improving global standing and economic stability.
