A major natural gas transmission pipeline was targeted in a late-night explosion near Wanda Arsala in Lakki Marwat, causing a massive fire and gas leak. The pipeline, which transports gas from local oil and gas fields to Punjab, was severely damaged in the blast, believed to have been caused by planted explosives.
Police confirmed that no casualties were reported, but the explosion created towering flames and thick smoke, leading to panic and the precautionary evacuation of nearby residents. The area was swiftly sealed off by security forces and police to ensure public safety and preserve evidence.
