Grenade Attack in Quetta Leaves One Dead and 11 Injured, Including Children

A Grenade Attack in Quetta has killed one person and injured 11 others, including children. The attack took place near the train station when assailants on motorcycles threw hand grenades and quickly fled.

The victim has been identified as Siraj Ahmed. The injured—Salman, Haris, Furqan, Abdul Waheed, Siddiqullah, Qudratullah, Khizr, Muhammad Umar, Ajwa, and Iqra Bibi—were rushed to the Civil Hospital’s trauma center.

The attackers targeted people near the train station celebrating Independence Day, throwing two grenades.

The first grenade landed harmlessly on the railway track, while the second exploded in front of the station.

This incident follows five bomb blasts in Quetta the previous day, which resulted in three deaths and ten injuries, leaving the city in shock and fear.
