Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms Forecasted for Northern Pakistan on May 23-24

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast predicting rain, thunderstorms, and dusty winds in the upper regions of the country on May 23 and 24. According to the department, humid winds are steadily advancing into the northern and central parts of Pakistan, with a western weather system expected to reach these areas by May 24.

Regions including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, and Galyat are likely to witness heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and dust storms. This weather system may cause disruptions, and residents are advised to remain alert and take necessary precautions to ensure safety.
