The post-mortem report of model Humaira Asghar, whose body was found in a flat in Karachi’s Defence area, has revealed shocking details. Contrary to earlier claims, her death occurred 8 to 10 months ago, not six months as initially believed.
According to forensic findings, Humaira Asghar’s body was in an advanced state of decomposition. Her nails had detached from the bone, and her face was no longer identifiable. The lower part of her body had completely decomposed. Despite the condition of the remains, no fractures were found in her bones.
The report also noted that it was not possible to determine if she had been sexually assaulted due to the severe decomposition. However, forensic experts collected various samples, including hair and torn pieces of clothing, which have been sent for chemical testing.
Humaira Asghar’s body has now been handed over to her family, who have taken her remains to Lahore for burial. Her brother denied any rumors of a family rift or estrangement, adding that they are deeply shocked by her tragic death.
In a related development, a woman named Dr. Syeda Kainat has submitted a complaint through the Prime Minister’s Portal. She alleged that the model was murdered and accused a doctor’s father of sexually abusing Humaira and involving her in drug use. These serious allegations have prompted the Inspector General of Sindh to order a formal investigation.
The case of Humaira Asghar has raised questions about the circumstances of her death and the delay in its discovery. Authorities are now under pressure to uncover the truth and take action against anyone found responsible.
The ongoing investigation will play a crucial role in delivering justice and addressing the disturbing claims surrounding her tragic end.
