Imran Applauds Alvi’s Decision on NA Session

Imran

PTI founder Imran Khan praised President Arif Alvi’s decision not to summon the National Assembly session, stating that despite winning the elections, PTI is being deprived of its rightful share of reserved seats.

Speaking to the media at Adiala jail, the former prime minister criticized those who opposed FATF legislation and demanded the closure of their cases, labeling the act as the greatest theft of the public’s mandate.

Imran clarified that due to his confinement, he dictated the letter to the IMF rather than writing and dispatching it personally. He indicated that the letter would be sent after the day’s meeting, emphasizing its purpose to inform the IMF that economic stability is unattainable without political stability.

Regarding the elections, Imran asserted that the entire nation believed they were rigged, lamenting the allocation of the prime minister’s position to a party with only 20 seats. He called for the resignation of the chief election commissioner, accusing him of failing to provide PTI with a fair electoral environment. Imran also criticized the caretaker government for allegedly working against his party’s interests.

Imran voiced support for President Alvi’s decision, stating that PTI had won the elections but was not being allocated specific seats. He denounced efforts to dismantle PTI, asserting that oppression had only strengthened the party’s popularity.

Responding to questions about his previous remarks regarding JUI chief Fazlur Rehman and Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Imran reiterated PTI’s opposition to PML-N, PPP, and MQM, whom he accused of being forcibly declared winners through rigging.

Imran emphasized PTI’s solidarity with all parties affected by election fraud and declared intentions to protest against rigging nationwide.
